JBS – Tolleson Facility

JBS is the parent company of the Pilgrim’s Pride Chicken and Swift Beef brands and is the largest animal protein processor in the world. With 140 production facilities worldwide and over 120,000 employees, JBS expanded their existing Tolleson, AZ plant operations with a new 100,000-square-foot cold storage facility. In addition to the new building, the project added a new truck access road, truck staging area, and truck entrance road connecting to Buckeye Road. The scope also included new parking lots, detention facilities, underground utilities, integrated walking/bike trails, and resurfacing of 91st Avenue. Ricor, Inc. performed earthwork, underground utilities, and asphalt paving for the project.
